I'm Emily. Nice to meet you.

I'm a writer specialising in SaaS, eCommerce, and technology. I hold a BA in English Literature, an MA in Creative Writing, and a management qualification from Harvard Business School. My professional experience is across content creation, copywriting, SEO, and digital marketing campaigns.

I currently work as the Senior Content Marketing Specialist at Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of B2B software solutions for professionals. I'm responsible for delivering a content marketing strategy and product messaging for the TAA division. I drive thought leadership and grow brand engagement through digital marketing.

 

As the Senior Writer at Wunderkind, I was based in Soho, London working with global teams to execute an inbound content strategy. Wunderkind works with clients such as Nike, Urban Outfitters, Gucci, UNIQLO, and many more, to drive digital growth and revenue. Through my writing, I worked in formats such as blogs, scripts, reports, and infographics. My main campaigns drove 500-1000 downloads, while my social media strategy gained 1,000,000 impressions during H1 of 2023.

 

Previously, I was the Content Executive at IMRG, based in Covent Garden. My role included creating meaningful content and strategy, including blogs, sponsored reports and web copy. I worked to bring clear cut insight to companies such as ASOS, Amazon, John Lewis, IKEA and Zara. During my time at IMRG one of our clients, a logistics company, asked me to write two blogs per week for their site, in a deal for IMRG.

I completed my master's in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway in 2020 - 2021. In this time I worked as a tutor, teaching English at secondary schools; a copywriter for Polaris Agency; and a freelance writer, all while producing 100,000 words of fiction, and academic essays.

 

I continue to publish short stories and articles in journals and magazines.

My stories have been long-listed for The White Review Prize, short-listed for The Tate Collection LYB competition, and was a runner up in the Creative Culture South West Short Story Competition.
